Eight years later...

It was a cold and rainy night in the outskirts of the village where a large black base was located and inside the base was a group known as the Akatsuki.

However, farther in the base was a dimly lit room wherea familiar but older version of Hoshiko Yashagoro was locked in. Hoshiko was now abeautiful young thirteen-year-old girl with extremely pale skin, long light blue hair down her back with bangs framing the side of her face and touching her shoulders as well as a hollow golden snake eye was wearing a worn-out white kimono, purple pants, and tight brown boots.

Hoshiko was sitting up on the flat, cold metal bedwith her knees brought up against her chest and arms wrapped around her knees as she gazed down with a hollow expression written all over her face.

'Oh, Father, why must I be burdened with this fate?'Hoshiko thought as she continued to gaze down.

She was pulled out of her thoughts as the sound of the clicking lock could be heard as the door slowly opened, making Hoshiko look up slightly as she saw a shadow of a figure begin to step into the room.

As the shadowy figure stepped further into the room, she recognized a familiar silver-haired nineteen-year-old male with glasses walking inside of the room carrying a tray with a small bowl of soup.

"Hey, Hoshiko, wish I could bring you more, but unfortunately, for your last outburst to escape, this is all you get for dinner," Kabuto said, walking over towards Hoshiko

"Hm," Hoshiko hummed, turning her gaze back down, keeping her arms wrapped around her knees.

"Come on, eat up," Kabuto said, holding out the tray towards Hoshiko." I know you're scared and want to leave, and your father will get you out of here in due time," He softly said.

"When?" Hoshiko questioned, moving her knees down and grabbing her bowl of soup."Who made this?" She asked.

"I don't know, just that he said the time for freedom will be coming," Kabuto replied as he simply walked towards the door."Also, Konan was on dinner duty tonight," He said as he left the room locking the door once again.

Hoshiko sighed as she glanced at the bowl of miso soup and picked up the spoon, and began eating her dinner.

'Oh Father, how soon will we be able to leave this nightmare?'Hoshiko thought as she gazed at her soup, taking slow spoonfuls of it.

As Hoshiko was peacefully eating her dinner six minutes later, the peace was interpreted bythe sound of someone unlocking the door.

"Hey my Serpent princess," the familiar voice of her father said, entering the room.

Hoshiko glanced up at her father and nodded with a faint smile. As her father walked over and he placed a hand on her head.

"Not in a talking mood tonight?" Orochimaru asked softly.

"I just want out of this nightmare of a place," Hoshiko whispered before slurping the juice of her soup from her bowl.

"Hey, I know a promise to get you out of here as soon as the time comes," Orochimaru said, ruffling Hoshiko's hair."Now try to get some rest. Pain wants to see you in the morning for training," he said.

"You mean torture, " Hoshiko muttered, heading the tray to her father now that he was done eating.

"I know it's hard, but it won't be long, " Orochimaru whispered, kissing Hoshiko's forehead before taking the bowl and began walking towards the door. "Sleep well, my Serpent princess," He said.

"Goodnight, father," Hoshiko whispered, laying down on her bed as Orochimaru left the room, shutting and locking the door behind.

Hoshiko sighed as sheclosed her eyes, getting ready to fall off to sleep for the night.

It was around the middle of the night whenHoshiko woke up with a start panting and covered in sweat as she heard an unfamiliar voice coming from outside.

"You need to get that girl to cooperate she is the major key to our operation," a deep voice said, talking to someone.

That was when another voice was more familiar.

"No need to freat Pain has plans for her tomorrow to get some cooperation out of her," Konan said.

"Good and keep a close eye on Orochimaru. I know he is planning something," the unfamiliar voice stated.

"Yes, of course," Konan said.

"That voice, who is that guy, and what are they going to do to me tomorrow?" Hoshiko questioned softly as the voices got silent, and the rest of the hall was silent.

'I'm not waiting for Father to act any longer.'Hoshiko thought as growled softly as her body began to transform and her eyes turned pupilless red as a dark purple aura appeared around her and cracked the ground underneath her bed allowing and could see a beautiful view of the outside grass and crawl through the hole underneath the bed.

"Finally freedom," Hoshiko whispered as she attempted to fly off with her dragon wings through the pouring rain.

'Goodbye, family.'She thought sadly as she weakly landed on the ground in the forest, panting not used to flying.

Meanwhile, in New York

There was a large white building with a brown roof where an alarm was going off in the room on a large computer screen with in red saying new mutant detected.

A fair-skinned and bald man in a wheelchair came into the room and wheeled very to the computer as the information appeared on the screen.

Name: Hoshiko Yashagoro

Location: Ame, Japan

Age: 13 years old

Mutation: Unstable transformation to a dragon and her power extreme destruction

"Wolverine summon the X-men. We have a new mutant on our hands, and I will be contacting Professor Sarutobi. This mutant is connected to his oldest student who left out of nowhere,"the man said mentally.

Here, we have Chapter 1 of Serpent Lost Hope. In this chapter, Hoshiko is now thirteen and locked up in the Akatsuki base in Ame Japan, but sokn escapes and is detected by Cerebro back at Professor Xavier's school. Now, Professor Xavier commands Wolverine to get the X-men while he contacts Professor Sarutobi. Originally, I was going to have Xavier and Sarutobi teach at the same school, but they made them separate schools, but they occasionally team up together on missions.I hope you enjoy the chapter.
